Women’s Guild News

The Women's Guild is open to all women of the parish.  We meet monthly - typically the third Tuesday of each month.  Our evening begins with Mass in the church at 7:00 p.m.  This is followed by a brief business meeting in the Parish Center Hall.  After the business meeting, we have refreshments and a presentation for the evening, with the evening ending right around 9:00 p.m.

We would love to welcome all women to join us.  For more information, please call Marie Dwyer, our Vice President and Membership Chairperson, at 781-224-1926.

Here is a list of some of the upcoming events for this season.  Watch this page and the parish bulletin for more details as each date gets close.  Mark your calendars.  Bring along a friend or two and enjoy what the Guild has to offer!

Our next meeting on Tuesday, October 16, 2018.  A Mass at 7:00 p.m. will be followed by light refreshments and a short business meeting.  The night’s guests speaker will be Scott Stanton, author of the book “The Tombstone Tourist”.  The book chronicles the final resting places, shrines, homes and memorabilia of over 500 departed Musical artists.  With humor and industry insight Scott will inform, enlighten and break some myths about many of our favorite departed musical idols.  All women of the parish are warmly invited to attend.

Also…..we are starting a Knitting Group  beginning on  Monday, September 24th at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Center Hall. This group will meet each Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. until the Holly Festival  This is a great way for you to help us make items for the upcoming Holly Festival.  If you like to knit, come and join us making mittens, scarves, sweaters, blankets, etc. If anyone has yarn to donate, we would appreciate it very much.  For more information about this Knitting Group, call Teresa at 781-587-0013.
