November 18, 2023 - IMPORTANT NOTICE
On November 16th, Most Blessed Sacrament sustained a great deal of damage from a flood that started in a restroom. Present estimates are that it will take months to do all the necessary repairs and rebuilding. The church building was not damaged at all but the restrooms, gathering space, and the faith formation area in the lower level have significant damage.

Because of the extensive damage, the restrooms are unusable, and therefore, all Masses have been moved to Incarnation parish, 429 Upham Street, Melrose, until all the necessary repairs are made. Most Blessed Sacrament Church is NOT permanently closed.

The Mass times at Incarnation will be:

  • Saturday at 4:00 pm
  • Sunday morning at 8:00 am
  • Sunday morning at 9:30 am, and
  • Sunday morning at 11:00 am.

This schedule will remain in place until the repairs can be made at MBS. We look forward to welcoming all our parishioners back to MBS soon. Please pray that the repairs are done quickly.

For now, the Women's Guild meetings and Holly Festival Christmas Fair will also be held Incarnation Parish. This fair will be on Saturday, 12/2 from 8:30-2:00 pm.

As we work through this difficult time, we will keep everyone informed of other changes and closings that may occur.

Please keep us in your prayers.

COVID-19 Considerations
Social distancing, sanitizing and other restrictions have been greatly reduced since the peak of the pandemic, as per local, state, federal and archdiocese guidelines. We remain steadfast in our commitment of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. However we urge those who are feeling sick, tested positive for Coronavirus, or at a higher risk for catching the virus to use common sense and not attend Mass in person. Thank you for your consideration and understanding.
